This is only a partial list of the plates we make. We can make any plate you can provide us a gasket for. All plates are burned in house to provide this highest quality product. The bore sizes shown are for reference only. Our plates are made to order so the bore size may differ depending on your application. I have been updating the photos as I build plates. Before the World Wide Web we didn't keep images of every plate. If the name is underlined an image is available for that plate. Click on the name to view that image.

The name "Yother" is synonymous with honing plates. We have been making the finest honing plates available since 1968. My father even holds a patent on one of the designs. We make our plates from steel, because this provides you with the finest quality product available. Aluminum or cast iron plates simply cannot provide the rigidity necessary to simulate assembled conditions. At one time we made cast iron plates, but felt it was a dis- service to the customer, because it was an inferior product, but easier to manufacture. Our steel plates will give you decades of consistent, repeatable service.
